The SIG SAUER P365 Metal Grip Module includes grip panels and backstraps, though the mag release is not included. The new MACRO extended mag release works well with the module, and the regular mag release retainer is compatible if needed. However, it’s important to note that the module is not compatible with OEM holsters, as its 1913 rail is larger than the OEM proprietary rail. Key materials include a 7075-T6 aluminum grip module body, hardcoat anodize coating, and a recoil lug made of 4140 steel with a QPQ Black Melonite coating. The grip panel material is G10, with wood options available separately. The module weighs 5.5 ounces and features a 1913 Picatinny rail that accommodates flashlights like the Streamlight TLR7 SUB 1913 with #4 insert and the Olight PL-2 Mini 2 Valkyrie.
The standard grip fits the smallest 10-round flush mags, while the XL/X grip size is identical to the standard XL grip (also called the X grip). The standard module supports 12-round flush or 15-round extended mags. The XXL version, with a longer rail, extends the frame to align flush with the XL slide and eliminates the underbite look. This version is compatible with both 12-round flush and 15-round extended mags and fits nearly any light.
Additionally, there is a new MACRO X grip module designed specifically for 17-round magazines. It fits flush with the MACRO X slide or regular XL-length slides. For those who need a light-bearing holster, those are also available. The metal grip modules are customizable with changeable G10 or wood grip panels, and magwell backstraps are coming soon.
